Air purifier specs & selection guide CADR, filter stages, noise, room size planning and MOQ — for B2B buyers
Use this guide when briefing an OEM or wholesale air purifier / smoke odor program. Figures below are typical / approximate planning aids — confirmed per SKU on drawings, samples and any third-party tests you arrange. Related product pages: air purifiers, mold, pets, smoke, smoke odor eliminators.
- CADR and room-size figures labeled typical / approximate
- Filter stages: pre-filter, HEPA-grade options, carbon
- MOQ and packaging framed per SKU
- Compliance: IAQ language, not medical devices
CADR and room-size planning
CADR (clean air delivery rate) bands and “covers up to X sq ft” style figures on marketing materials should be treated as typical / approximate until the specific SKU is measured. Room-size rules of thumb vary by ACH assumption and ceiling height — we confirm numbers on the quotation and samples. Do not invent capacity numbers as facts on packaging without test data.
Filter stages
- Pre-filter — larger dust and hair; often washable.
- HEPA-grade filter options — available per buyer spec (for example H13-class media when specified). Prefer this wording over unverified “certified HEPA” badges on this site.
- Activated carbon — odor and some VOC adsorption; load (grams) set per SKU.
- Optional layers — only when the drawing includes them; avoid unverified germ-kill health claims.
Replacement intervals depend on use environment — quoted as typical guidance, not a guarantee.
Noise
Sleep / low / medium / turbo dB bands are measured per platform. Publish ranges only after sample or lab confirmation. Hospitality and bedroom channels often prioritize sleep-mode noise.
Logo methods
Pad print, silk screen, nameplate, molded-in mark, and printed packaging. Method depends on housing material and order quantity.
Packaging & MOQ
MOQ is per SKU and rises with new tooling, custom colors, printed cartons and buyer-specified testing. Existing platforms in neutral packaging start lower. Filter multipacks can be separate SKUs. Lead time depends on customization, sampling, testing and season — confirmed on each quotation.
Compliance
Indoor air quality products — not medical devices. Do not claim treating mold illness, asthma, allergies as medical conditions; killing viruses/bacteria as health claims; doctor recommended; or FDA/EPA product registration on this site’s authority. Electrical safety, EMC and destination marks are buyer-specified. Third-party testing arranged per order at a lab you choose or approve. Brand owner owns labeling and claims.

Indoor air quality products — not medical devices. We do not claim disease treatment, allergy cure, asthma therapy, virus/bacteria kill as health claims, doctor recommendation, or FDA/EPA product registration. HEPA-grade filter options are available per buyer spec — we do not display unverified “certified HEPA” badges. CADR and room-size figures are labeled typical/approximate until confirmed per SKU. Third-party testing is buyer-specified and available on request. Labeling and claims are the brand owner’s responsibility.
Frequently asked questions
Do you offer certified HEPA filters?
We offer HEPA-grade filter options available per buyer spec (for example H13-class media when the drawing calls for it). We do not display “certified HEPA” badges or FDA/EPA marks on this site. Third-party testing for filtration efficiency, CADR bands or odor reduction can be arranged per order at a lab you choose or approve. Any packaging claim is the brand owner’s responsibility after verification.
Can your products treat mold illness, allergies or asthma?
No. Our copy and products are framed for indoor air quality: capturing airborne mold spores, pet dander and particulate, and reducing smoke odor — not treating medical conditions. Buyers and brands must not use medical efficacy language on packaging without their own clinical and regulatory basis. See compliance.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
Both are quoted per SKU. MOQ depends mainly on the platform (existing chassis vs. new tooling), filter set, CADR target band, color, logo method, packaging and any buyer-specified testing; lead time depends on customization, sampling rounds, testing and season. Send your quantities and we confirm both on the quotation — see also the packaging & MOQ section of our specs guide.
Are your air purifiers medical devices or FDA / EPA registered?
No. We supply indoor air quality products for particulate, odor and filtration use — not medical devices. We do not claim disease treatment, allergy cure, asthma therapy, virus or bacteria “kill” as health claims, doctor recommendation, or FDA/EPA product registration on this site. Filter class (for example HEPA-grade options) and any third-party lab tests are specified by the buyer per SKU. See the compliance section of our specs guide or ask on the inquiry form.
